James (Jim) and his wife, Tea, moved to Marion during the drought of the 1950's and they remember buying and hauling water in barrels before Green Valley WSC came to them in 1964. Their four children graduated from Marion High School. Jim was on the GVWSC Board in the eighties but no one can remember that far back. Jim is an Aggie (Class of 1950) and worked for Guadalupe Blanco River Authority for 37 Years.
