Nicholas (Nick) Sherman of Cibolo, Texas, has served on the GVSUD Board since November 2017.
A native Texan, Nick received a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Construction Engineering from
the University of Alabama. While a student there, he secured an ongoing internship, working in the
construction field, which led to his focus on that area of utility service.
During his career, Nick has been involved in the design, cost estimation, bidding phase, and construction
of dozens of water treatment, wastewater treatment, sewer main, water/wastewater force main, water
booster pump station, sewer lift station, and chemical injection facilities, in the states of Florida,
Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas.
Nick and his wife and two young children moved to Cibolo in 2013 and quickly became established in the
local community. His interests and hobbies include saltwater fishing, coaching YMCA soccer, gardening,
and spending time with his family.
